Who we are
recruit.traitorzmusical.com is operated by Round Table NYC LLC (“we”, “us”), the producer of Traitorz: The Unauthorized Musical Parody at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036. Information we collect
- Mobile phone number, which you enter to sign in. We send a one-time code by text (if you agree to texts) or by email to confirm it is you.
- First name and email address, which you give us when you sign up.
- Your consent choices for texts and email, and the date and time you gave or withdrew them.
- How you arrived: the campaign link you used, the friend who invited you, and, if you came from an Instagram direct message, your Instagram username and messaging ID.
- Your activity on the site: the performances you say you are attending, and whether you opened your letter, copied your code or tapped through to buy tickets.
- Your cloaked portrait, only if you choose to take part in the Cloaking. Your selfie is cropped on your phone and only the cropped portrait is uploaded. We do not keep the original photo.
- Location on show night, only if you allow it, to confirm you are inside the theatre when you check in. It is checked once and not stored.
- Technical information such as your IP address and browser type, used to keep the site secure and stop abuse.
We do not collect payment information. Tickets are sold by our ticketing provider, Ludus, under its own terms and privacy policy.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep you signed in.
- To show you your letter, your recruitment code, your chosen performances and the game.
- To send the texts and emails described below, only as you have agreed.
- To credit the friend who invited you.
- To understand which campaigns bring people to the show.
- To prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
Text messages
We ask for two separate consents, each with its own unticked checkbox. Neither is required to sign up, see your letter or buy tickets.
Transactional texts. If you tick the first box, we text your one-time sign-in codes (only when you ask for one) and reminders about performances you have booked. Message frequency varies. If you leave it unticked, we email your sign-in codes instead.
Marketing texts (Traitorz Texts). If you tick the second box, we text show news, offers and game updates about Traitorz: The Unauthorized Musical Parody. Up to 4 messages a month.
Message and data rates may apply to all texts.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@traitorzmusical.com. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We email you only if you tick the email box, or about a performance you have already booked. Every marketing email includes our mailing address and an unsubscribe link.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing their service to us:
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), our contact management and text and email platform.
- ManyChat, which runs our Instagram direct messages.
- Neon, our database host, and Vercel, our website host.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that sign-ups come from people rather than bots.
- Resend, which sends sign-in emails to our staff.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our audience, staff or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, as stated above.
Your cloaked portrait
Your cloaked portrait appears as your picture inside the app and, on a night you attend and choose to show your name, to that night’s checked-in players. We feature it on our social media only if you share or tag it yourself. We never use your face for anything else, and we delete it when you ask.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie to tell people from bots.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for the run of the show and up to 12 months after the final performance, then delete it or make it anonymous, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Sign-in codes are stored only in scrambled form and expire after 10 minutes.
Your choices and rights
- Stop texts at any time by replying STOP. Stop emails with the unsubscribe link.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information, including your portrait, by emailing hello@traitorzmusical.com. We respond within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under state law. We will honor them, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Children
You must be 18 years of age or older to use this service. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe someone under 18 has signed up, email hello@traitorzmusical.com and we will delete their information.
Security
We use encrypted connections, store sign-in codes and session tokens only in scrambled form, and limit staff access by role. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. If a change affects how we use your phone number, we will ask for your consent again.
